RINSE rice with warm water until it looks clear, drain and settle. In a hot pan heat the oil over medium heat, add rice, cook until it begins to get brown, move with a wood spatula so it can´t stick with rice.
ADD onion, garlic, pepper and jalapeño. Cook for 3 minutes and add water, chicken soup, pepper, cummin and tomatoes. Cover the pan and let it boils for 10 minutes. After this time, reduce heat and add cilantro.
BOIL for another 15 minutes. When rice has been cooked and liquid consumed, take away from heat.
